Users may request the deletion of their becomeone.id account and associated personal data at any time by:

• Submitting a request via email to support@becomeone.id with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
• Verifying their identity to confirm account ownership before the deletion process begins.
• Acknowledging that deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Once your request is approved, we will initiate the deletion process within 14 working days and notify you when it is complete.

2. What Will Be Deleted

Upon approval of your request, the following data will be permanently removed from our system:

• Personal Account Information: Name, email, phone number, and login credentials.
• Event Data: Hosted events, invitations, guest lists, RSVP records, and any associated reports.
• Communication Logs: WhatsApp, SMS, and email messages sent via our platform.

⚠️ Exceptions: Some anonymized data or logs may be retained for legal, security, or compliance reasons, such as fraud prevention or financial reporting. These do not contain personally identifiable information.

3. User Responsibilities After Deletion

Even after your account and data are deleted from becomeone.id's system, you remain responsible for any commitments, agreements, or data you shared before deletion, including but not limited to:

• Guest Information: If you shared guest details with third parties (e.g., WhatsApp, email services), those providers may still store the data based on their policies.
• Legal or Financial Obligations: If you engaged in paid services, transactions, or contract agreements, you are responsible for maintaining relevant records.
• External Data Copies: Any backups or data exports that you manually saved before deletion remain your responsibility.

becomeone.id is not liable for any consequences arising from the deletion of your account and data, including loss of access to event records, RSVP history, or other stored information.

4. Retention of Certain Data

While your account and personal data will be deleted, we may retain certain non-personal or aggregated data for:

• Legal compliance (e.g., financial transactions or tax-related records).
• Fraud prevention and security monitoring.
• Platform analytics (without personally identifiable information).

These retained data sets will not be linked to your identity.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as necessary. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
